5 Steps to Heal Your Life

Healing sounds so majestic and ethereal, but when it comes down to it, healing is a messy process. Personal healing requires hours and hours of time, dedication, surrender, honesty, trust, willingness, and personal accountability. All of these lead us to this wonderful place of healing.



What Does Healing Really Mean?

To put it simply: Healing is the process of finding a problem, tracking this problem down and acknowledging it at the root wound level. Then, it's locating the stale energy attached to it, linking it to mental and emotional programs playing out as toxic behavior, discovering those false beliefs that are still playing out in your current life. Finally, it's releasing this energy through many different healing modalities, reprograming the space with new energy and then gaining access to an inner sense of freedom that is satisfying to your soul.


The result of healing is what makes this word sound so majestic.


But in reality, it is a pretty tumultuous process that you have to go through to get there. Since this process is so messy, and rarely linear, I find it helpful to have "road map" and have narrowed down the healing journey to 5 simple steps.

1. Getting Your Mind Balanced When your mind is out of control, your mental chatter can run toxic energy to you without you even knowing it. The cool thing is that you can teach yourself how to clean up your mind by teaching it to be quiet, calm, and still. Once you accomplish this, your life will begin to reflect this peace back to you.


2. Healing the Stress Response

We all know what stress feels like and that it is bad for us. However, if we really understood just how bad it really was, we would do anything to fix it. Being habitually stressed has to do with your stress response (fight or flight) firing all the time. The solution here is the find the stress response, recalibrate it and then discharge the stale energy by going within and turning this ruptured response into the off position.


3. Using Imagery to Release Wounds

Imagery is taking a visual symbol that creates a mental image in your mind’s eye, and because of the mind, body, spirit connection, healing imagery can make you feel like you are experiencing this thing - just by imagining it. The brain actually does not know the difference between you thinking about it, or you are experiencing it in reality. Therefore, learning how to use imagery gives you a place to do your deeper inner work. And this is where the magic actually begins takes place.



4. Connecting to Your Inner Child

There is this little thing called your inner child. And she is probably hurting. But when you learn to meet her, and make her feel safe, you will see a huge difference in your energy levels. You may also notice that it becomes easier to know who you can and can’t trust. Healing your inner child comes after we learn how to use imagery because now we know where we are going on the inside.


5. Transforming Your False Beliefs

The mind is split into two parts, the conscious and the subconscious. The subconscious controls about 88% of our mind and it has a memorized comfort zone. Your beliefs live in the subconscious, and this acts as your filtering system. However, some of these embedded beliefs are set to the wrong frequency and filter out experiences you want to have. Transforming these subconscious beliefs changes what your conscious mind can perceive and this transforms your life.


These are 5 profound steps will set you on the healing path and help you transform your life. As you do this inner healing work you will bring awareness to your physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and energetic bodies that have been holding your back.

As you release your past and heal the traumatic energy you have been holding inside, something huge will shift within you! Again, the healing process is messy, it is not linear, and others cannot heal these spaces for you, even if they created them. It is up to you to do this inner healing work.
